KT09 & KT09T operation
instructions.
The engine uses methylated spirits as fuel. Meths is sometimes called denatured alcohol.
Remove the burner from the base. note that there is a small step about a quarter of the way down inside, fill with meths (denatured alcohol) to his level AND NO MORE. Fit the cap, and fit back into the base. Light the wick, allow a minute or so to warm up and then spin the wheel. The engine should run for about 15 minutes before the fuel runs out, but this could be longer or shorter depending on how much wick you have protruding from the top of the burner cap.
BEWARE, THE WHOLE ENGINE GETS HOT DURING RUNNING. TAKE EXTREME CARE WHEN HANDLING DURING RUNNING AND FOR UP TO 10 MINUTES AFTER THE FLAME HAS GONE OUT.

- Make sure you have a suitable fire extinguisher to hand in case of emergencies.
