Take one large O and start to fit into the groove in the edge of the top plate. The O ring will fit comfortably for most of the way round, but will need a slight stretch for the last bit, it helps to hold the fitted section firmly with thumb and finger as shown while gently stretching the O ring out and over the groove. Take great care when stretching over the displacer.
